Like everything else in life, a good thing can be abused and it turns into something -- not good. Sounds like you're at this point, so it would probably be a good idea to let him know that the "reference machine" is about to go out of service.

generally, 2-3 references per appt is really enough, maybe up to 5. But if you stop replying, soon he'll stop using you. he uses you because he knows you'll always immediately reply.

I use the last two providers saw.  If its an indie girl, I use the last two indies.  If its an agency girl, I use the last two bookers.  That way, each girls get used as a reference only twice.  I tip every girl I see for the session and ask indies permission to use them as a reference, no more than twice.  (Don't need to ask the bookers because of my volume,)  When you tip, they are always willing to help you.  As I'm handing them a $100 tip, I ask if I can use them for a reference no more than two times.  

With all your reviews, I notice not one "token" Whitelist..K-girl bookers give Whitelist referrals, don't they?

I just send an appointment request through P411. Sometimes the lady will check with my most recent okays and sometimes she won't.  I assume when they don't check my profile, that they either have other means for verifying me or they are good with the number of okays I have.  

I would not use her as a reference at all.

I make my appointments through P411. If a lady requires a client complete her own request form, I generally write in "see P411 oks" where it asks for references.  
I have noticed that ladies who check with my ok givers tend to contact those in their own city, their own clique, or their own ethnicity.

except for a 411 girl I never have been requested to furnish references. I dont know if I'm just lucky or what. It would probadly be hard for me since phone numbers change, names change, in and out of business etc. also I never use agencies yet.

use p411 "OKs" and very seldom have to give actual references.  Other than one person I try to see every 3 months or so, I really don't have a lot of girls to use as references.  If I do see someone it's usually from p411 and I ask them for an OK within a couple of days of the session.  So far, it hasn't been a problem.  

you can always email him/message him and hint that maybe another session is in order since you haven't seen him in a while.  Also, some girls only give references for a few months at most from the last session.  Others will only accept them if they are less than a few months.

We all "use" someone in this lifestyle and it's not a bad thing as long as you are not taking advantage of the person

I remain anonymous as far as my TER handle here.  My friends here think I'm a polarizing character here.  Those that aren't my friends think I'm a real asshole, so I don't want to risk not being able to get an appointment because of something I said on one of the boards that might be a little outrageous.  I am nothing in RL like my CDL persona, so no one has made the connection.  I see about 8-10 indies a year, often repeating, because sometimes you just want a girl that speaks English rather than Engrish, but I don't review them for fear they will match me up to my CDL handle.  The top Kgirls read their reviews, but they see so many customers, and the fact that I wait about two weeks after the session to write the review,  makes it nearly impossible for them to match me up to CDL.  It also helps that CDL is over the top sometimes on the boards, and I am Mr. Button-down Conservative in RL.  I have not been able to find any way to have a whitelist without disclosing my TER handle, so there you have it.  Consequently, all I will give for a reference is my first name, hobby phone number and my last two providers if its an indie, or my last two bookers if its an agency girl I'm trying to book.  Is that's not enough, then I get out my list, draw a line though the top name, and then contact the next one.  I will not get to see all of the girls I would like to in my remaining lifetime, so there is no one I really have a NEED to see.  

Do you  mean like this girl with three names I reviewed recently?  It sounds like you're saying it doesn't get reported when they change names.  I'm confused.  How did she get three names, then?  Maybe you're confused?

That's NOT normal. I find it rather odd that he keeps using YOU as a reference if he's indeed seeing all these other ladies. It makes me wonder why he's not using them as references. Perhaps you could email him and let him know that you don't mind giving him a reference here and there, but he needs to be respectful of your time. I'd also set a time limit. I won't usually give references for Clients I've seen more than six months ago. People change.

I had a clinet use me as a reference almost every week or so and it was okay by me. I was always very sweet and said nothing but good things about him. I do not mind if any clinet that has seen me uses me as long as long as he is happy.

Reading through this thread my takeaway is that the true value of the p411 membership is the near, not complete, elimination of the drama and issues created when asking for and providing references.

I've never given any provider's name as reference. My 411 okays have been sufficient so far unless provider has gone behind my back and contact providers that gave me okays.

Have not needed one reference since I signed up on P411.  Even before that rarely needed a reference because I would repeat with agency's...different models.  Maybe so easy for me because I write reviews.

Since joining P 411 I have never had to bother supplying references. I am sure at least a few providers have contacted some of my okays, but not a single provider I have contacted through P 411 has asked me to "provide references" other than my P 411 okays.  I am a VERY lazy fuck, and as spoiled as I am, if  provider were to ask me to jump through any hoops above and beyond what I already provide through P 411, most likely I would just contact a different girl. Hookers aren't the only people who value their time.

I think that sometimes we get used as a reference over and over because we actually answer. In many locales a lot of providers are not reference friendly, although they require references. If they were to disclose this information up front, I suspect that some guys would make another choice. Like most of you have replied, I just keep giving the reference as I don't want any of my clients to miss out on a good time or a lady miss some income.
