I usually ask this in person, since I am genuinely curious, but how did each of you ladies choose your stage name?
Was it based on someone you know, or know of... maybe borrowing their strength or taking sweet, sweet, revenge? A historical figure you identify with? An actress? A writer? A name or words you just happened to see somewhere? Random jabs in a phone book? Popular Names for Girl Babies book or website? Maybe blame it on the whiskey? So tell us, how did you come to be known as you are now known?
only to find out that name was based on a children's animated character and some female rapper. So I changed my mind. Then I remembered how much I liked that actress who played 'Lana Lang' in the tv series, 'Smallville', and she also happened to be a halfie like me. Anyways, I didn't want to take her whole name as much as I liked it. I always felt that 'Lisa' was a sexy and mature name. So, Lisa - Lang. Funny, I just had a client tell me I looked more like a ''Lana'' then a ''Lisa''. Kinda weird, I stayed with this stage name since there's a famous Asian journalist with a similar name. Oops!
I have an affinity for the color red, and with my fair skin and black hair I resemble a Scarlett O'Hara, so "Scarlett" seemed like a good choice.
I like the sound of consonants and my name purposefully contains lot of them. I think it's pleasant to hear. "St. Clair" is a playful reference to my Irish Catholic upbringing and a nod to spirituality.

Sorry bud, I know you're looking for input from the ladies, but I gotta throw this out there. Your question reminds me of a quote from the ubersexy Anne Bancroft.
"When I was in radio, I was Anna St. Raymond; when I was in television, I was Anne Marno; and then in movies I was Anne Bancroft -- if I ever go into burlesque, I've got one picked out: Ruby Pepper." Would be a great provider name.
Rosie Wilde is a silly little play on "wild rose", a flower I've always identified with. I also admire Rosie the Riveter as a feminist icon, and Oscar Wilde as a subverter of society.

I had no idea i would continue doing this work on a long term professional level so i just went to post an ad and thought of a name within a minute lol!! Gypsy came to my mind because i used to travel with a gang of hippies in school buses and do off the grid living so in a way its fitting but i really wish i would have given it more thought. Tempted to change my name but just sounds like a pain in the ass...all good though! lol
Yes they are addictive. I had a Mocha every day for awhile, but it was a battle trying to work off all those calories. I eventually quit, but it was hard.

and in the Earth-41001 'verse he and Rogue have a daughter....Rebecca LeBeau.
Add to that the fact that on most forums I go by Rudbeckia and I have an affinity for names that are alliterative, so shorten it down to Becki and it just seemed to fit. *grin*
