I have heard of some guys getting a provider pissed at them because they didn't rate her high enough.  She expected nothing less than 9's and didn't get them.

I have only had one provider express disappointment with my review score.  The day it was posted, she wrote me to explain to me why my personal view of our appointment was wrong.  And, mind you, I had given her an 8 for appearance and a 7 for performance.  I even wrote in the review that I could definitely understand how she had earned her many higher ratings, but it just didn't work out that way with me.

I didn't change it so she immediately pulled her P411 "OK" from me.  Ah well.  Her subsequent scores were still very good, and I haven't heard anything else.

I'm not exactly sure in what world ratings of "Really Hot" and "Hot Time" are considered poor.  Oh, wait, I guess that would be here.  Too much grade inflation on TER.  The best ladies have trouble getting separation from the average ladies.  Sad.

Yes, there may be consequences if you give out a score lower than she is used to.  She may take it in stride.  Or she may not.  You'll have to judge the risk/benefit ratio for yourself.

I would stick by my own assessment.

I had such a negative reaction that I have stopped reviewing as the provider actually called my home.  I learned a lot about throw away phones very quickly.

Lesson: Don't share your board identity and you can write your reviews in peace. I think the paid members here would rather have honesty than someone who feels like he's going to his dick cut off if he lets the negative news out on some of the less than honorable providers. If she figures out its you and tries to have the review taken down by saying you're lying, put her on blast and the truth will most always rise to the top.

There are a few out there that will exact their revenge upon you.  But, we are all not as evil.

Do what you think is right.  Watch out for the crazy ladies....

You never listen.

And you never call.

No, don't bother changing the bulb. I'll just sit in the dark.

What are the Consequences of providing a less than positive review?

I recently met a provider (no ter reviews) where I was disappointed.
She was late, and all did not go as well as expected.

do not give me any crap about only seeing well reviewed ter providers, I have heard it before.

I also saw a WELL REVIEWED ter provider where things did not go as well as planned. These are not simply YMMV things but conduct things. Like booking more than one appt at the same time. being late, not living up to promises.

Have any Gents received feed back/consequences form a provider you gave less than a good review to say less than 5 on the performance scale. Or said you would not see again in the details?

I've had two experiences in which the lady was not as advertised and the experiences were sub-par. In both cases, the ladies appeared to me to be crazy enough that I didn't write less than positive reviews for fear of some form of reprisal from them.

A provider has threatened hobbyists over low scores and gotten her WK to PM and email the reviewer.

When you are new, a less than positive review CAN affect you big time.  But once you have established "cred", then you are pretty much impervious to retribution.  That's why I put MUCH more weight on reviews written by veteran reviewers and I always PM the most recent vet reviewers a girl has seen.

You get the best feedback backchannel through PM's.  I get 20-30 a day, as I'm sure most experienced guys do.

if so you are SERIOUSLY fucked - if you were stoopid enough to give her your personal information

if not, who knows? Try it and see....

Using TER as a place to review providers, while also using TER as a place to get "whitelisted" BY providers, is a conflict of interest.

I have never seen a provider based on my TER profile, and I never will. So I am free to review however I feel.

I have a handful of regulars that i use as refrences to see other ladies but i have never told anyone that i am on this board... it's best to keep them separate so u can keep your reviews neutral.  If a guy is "whitelisted" they seem to give out higher ratings than some of you that keep your identities concealed.

I agree with the statement below:

Does she know about TER?  Would she be able to trace the review back to you if she were to read it?  While it's never happened to me, I've heard tales of ladies threatening to expose personal info, contactiing SO's, placing hobbyists on blacklists, etc., when they get a less than stellar review, so I mostly refrain.  On the other hand, I've never had things go so badly as to give a 5 or less rating for performance, so I may not be the right person to ask...

I gave a pretty lousy review to three different providers during the last 18 months or so. Two of them apparently quit the business since they are no longer on TER. One still has a presence on TER but hasn't had a review since mine.

I like to think I give fair reviews, and they probably felt I did, too. BTW, they all had 7-8 when I saw them, but all of them were using pic that were very old, and I stated as such. Maybe they saw the handwriting on the wall?

The more negative the review the less impassioned you should make it.  Let the simple facts stand for themselves so you do not come across as having a vendetta.  Think Dragnet, think about making it almost bland.  If you say, "She was fifteen minutes late and did not call to let me know" it is hard for her to refute without calling you a liar.  If you say, "She was a self-centered inconsiderate provider who had no concern for me" she will poke at the words "self-centered" and "no concern", rebutting the adjectives without addressing the substance.

The number you give is not as critical to many readers as the words and specifics you describe.  To me a number 3 or less is saying the lady was a rip-off in one way or another.  A 4 or 5 says you really did not enjoy the encounter and then I want to understand why.  What is important to you may or may not be important to me, so how you describe the negative parts becomes critical.

Lastly, whether you feel it fully belongs or not you can add a parting comment such as, "I know she has great reviews but this is what my experience was.  Maybe she had a bad day".  That way you do not come across as calling her other reviewers liars, and you acknowledge the reality that one poor review in the collection of good ones will not ruin her reputation, but if it becomes the first of a trend, that is different.  It will also lessen, not eliminate, some of her favorite dates from flaming you.

I have written very few poor reviews because I have not had to.  Those are the things I would do if I was going to write a poor one.

Hope this helps.

Less than positive hmmmmm might scare many away but if they are overwhelmingly decent/good then a smart hobbyist will look at that ..... if you're scared it won't be better a next time ...move on
