I've noticed recently that some providers are only showing pics on a subscription basis.
I'm not paying to see photo shopped photos from anyone plus it's never wise to get your credit cards out to too many places.  
What do others think about this?

It's not the provider. But the service she uses for hosting or managing her site. If you try on different days, you'll notice sometimes it's locked, and sometimes you can access the portfolio for free. I doubt most providers would think that putting her pics behind a pay wall is good marketing

They told me.. Some said they were able to see my photos without paying while others had to pay. I closed my website and created a new one ( not the best one, but at least people can see my pictures without paying and no more pop-ups)

don't need to pay for the privilege of making up my mind, which photos are a big part of the decision process of, if i can murder sentence syntax to make a point.
