....just seems rather odd...folks don't do that down here when they're with another man...you're likely I get shot or sucker punched.
Maybe its a cultural thing so reaponses may vary based on location.
Personally, unsolicited affirmation isn't necessary....jus sayin..

reinterate their own point they made earlier in a thread?
When one or more posters feel it neccessary to continually force their or the same POV, I for one tend to reject the POV, bc the OP is trying to hard.
I like to see +1, +2, etc...... that means I see your affirmation and cn move on to the next point, and it moves the thread along.
P
I understand if the POV needs to be defended or th ere is additional info to consider.
In addition, the boards in general have disintegrated into a trash heap on many occassions. We need to be civil here.
It's one tning if you know a poster and can rib them, but it's uncalled for to insult a stranger.
Further more as for the reviews, they are the subjective POV of the author, Do we really need a trashfest about what one persons 8, 9, or 10??????
Let me throw this moment out there for consideration.
A few decades ago, I, along with several friends were in the bar of a nice restaurant. There waiting for a table was an attractive woman, more along the lines of avg - above avg. looking. What we all noticed, both men and woman alike, was her "radiant beauty." we all agreed in that moment she was the most beautiful woman in the world. A somewhat rare occurrance, and subjective POV at that.
I gave her a 10 Then and would so today. Just my POV on her looks. to me a person with avg. Looks can achieve a radiant 10.
So a thought for all.
Would you, or not approach her, and her SO, and compliment her on her beauty?
if so how?
Ladies, what would you consider an acceptable manner of a compliment?
