Hobbyists, ever come across the following situation ? : you see a particularly hot provider on a website-----has a reasonable hourly rate------also has several good TER reviews. You contact your steady provider before booking & she's happy to give you a reference. You go back to this new provider to book & HORRORS-------she's upped her rates to a 2 hour minimum. For reasons of economics or principle, you decide not to book with her.
Mind you, I'm NOT knocking a provider who does this---law of the marketplace & supply & demand-----if she can get the 2 hour minimum from hoobyists, more power to her. But nevertheless, this CAN be a frustrating experience for a hobbyist. Any thoughts on this ?
I've never had this happen between the time I read a ladie's reviews, saw her fees and policies, and then actually attempted to book with her. Not sure what I would do... I book two hours with my favs but I rarely invest that much money on a woman that I have not met yet. I guess it would depend on the total fee to some extent. I rolled the dice on a lady a couple of months ago who was marginally reviewed and had a two hour minimum for an out call to my location. The total rate was reasonable so I went for it. She was not a true GFE but she was a nice gal and we had a good time together for a couple of hours.
Even if it is a new posted rate. If you set up the appt at one rate and it is different by the time you confirm- B & S to me.
Notwithstanding, like you said, it is a free market and she can do what she wishes, and like you did, you exercised the choice not to see her.
I've got no objection to 2 hour minimums- in fact I usually do book 2 hours first time (I don't consider it a risk as I research well ahead and know I want to see for two hours by the time I've decided to book). In fact some of the more exclusive (best?) or at least busy enough to be able to set a 2 hour minimum do so. I'm working on a session with a 4 hr min lady and am really excited about it- her reputation preceeds her!
Bear-----I got my reference BEFORE hitting her website a 2nd time & noticing the rate increase---once I noted the increase, I decided not to book.
I stated this on an earlier post------I see a steady provider & we go for an 1&1/2 hour time frame----I feel an hour is too short a time & 2 hours is too expensive. 90 minutes is the perfect time for talk & "indoor sports"----. Pefect time frame for me---you wonder why more folks don't go for it.
Some providers who have price increases do so to cut back on the number of clients they are willing to see. In some instances they have at least one or more sugardaddy clients that fund them every month to keep them going. As a result they don't care what the rest of the world thinks with price increases. The problem they could run into [I have seen it happen] is that they are back to ground zero when the sugardaddies are gone. Lowering their price to win the previous clients back does not always work.
I never had that happen but I went to see a Provider and had her rate in a envelope that was posted on her web site and when we were done she said I shorted her. I told her I went by web site and I didn't short her she went on her lap top and said your right I'm sorry. Needless to say I won't see her again I think she was scamming.
Not optimal for the hobbyist considering chemistry is important... w/o it, you are left holding your ball sack... IMHO, if after one hour and things are not going so well, a class move would be for a provider to offer a partial refund... sometimes it just doesn't work out... after all, to be successful, money can't be the only driver...
It gives you an extra hour to post more of your great pics.
An hour is fine for me too. it usually takes me an hour for pop number one, and unfortunately I can very rarely finish the second time in a two hour session. I'd much rather have two, one hour sessions a few hours apart. Since I'm not married, scheduling two sessions in the same day is no problem whatsoever.

I thought if I had to travel to see her, how awesome would an 11:00, 4:00, 9:00 visit same day be! Maybe finish up the next morning with her in a double- go home smiling like a cheshire cat and in need of physical therapy for a week!
multi-hour in advance, and the week before she said I had to pay the higher $$-more rate. Bad form on her part. Was my ATF, but is now not even on the list.
I just think of how I'd feel if I went shopping, put something on layaway and came back to it more expensive. I wouldn't want to do that to anybody else...especially when the layaway item is a one of a kind. :P
easily afford $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for two hours. She's involved in a number of additional ventures (website for $, occasional porn, glam pics, etc) so doesn't have the hobby as sole income. Just bad customer service on her part. When you go for the rarified level she is, men willing to pay that like to keep the fantasy going.
Most ladies I've seen over 5+ years have raised their rates but grandfathered me at the lower rate. I'm refering to ladies I would see 3 or 4 times in a year.
I think what is worst is when a provider advertises certain activities for a certain rate, then ups the price once the action starts. even had one girl advertise as her best GFE around who would not kiss or even touch the privates and wanted to charge extra for a COB. Having a provider give you a different price before scheduling is bad but at least it didn't happen with your pants down.
I've never seen a provider raise her rates between setting up an appt. and the actual meeting, but have seen rates in NYC by the top indies go up to $$$$$ + /hr. If you saw them previously, the grandfather clause is in effect, if not, better be be ready shell out those $$$$$. What's most frustating that there is a top notch lady in NYC who was available for a reasonable fee two years ago, but who now can't be seen unless you are willing to shell out $$$$$ x 3...while those whom are grandfathered are seeing her at the old rate. Oh, well, guess I will keep seeing those ladies I am already established with at the grandfathered rates...
i myself do increase my rate for season here, in florida it is very seasonal, i count on the season time, to really be able to get ahead, but i would like to mention, i always see my regular clients or even any previous met clients at the rate they saw me before, and do not make mention of anything. its always worked out well. i do however beieve when an appt is bookedon your end, you should be getting that rate that that you have seen offered at that time, and i think i real good top provider will acknowledge that. .
i am a 1 hour guy except with one provider, she was my first and she deserves at least 2 hours. But she is the only one who can keep my interest for that long. She knows who she is........thanks, baby
