I posted this on the Florida board this week after we got blasted for not helping some travelers who were seeking help in locating providers in Florida.  It pertains to any and all hobbyists who might be visiting a location where they are looking for a provider and don't know the local girls.

Guys, if you are visiting a new to you area of hobbying and want to find a local provider to suit your needs, there are some things you can do to help the local guys steer you in the right direction.  With the proper info, you will be surprised how helpful hobbyists can be.  Without it, you are on your own, bro.


We have no problem helping out another hobbyist, but it seems like the guys who are coming to (insert your own locale here) expect us to be mind-readers as to what they are looking for, and WHERE?

Out-of-staters, we will be happy to refer you to our ladies, but we have to know a few things.  1) when you will be here, specific dates will be real helpful.   2) where you will be, like the city, duh.   3) incall or outcall.  4) what type of provider you want, and be pretty specific, like race, age, body type, hair color, session type like fbsm/fs/gfe/pse, ht/wt, etc, you get the idea.

With this information we will be happy to point you in the direction of the best in our area.  But when you don't give us any info, how can we help.   A post like "I'm going to be in Orlando next week and I need an outcall", or something similar, ain't gonna get it.

If you don't tell us almost exactly what you want, and don't get a response, don't blame us.  Tell us what you want, and we will gladly tell you who we would recommend.

All of our areas have enough providers to  suit anyone's fancy, but if we don't know what you are looking for, how can we help you?

Don't post your request for help under an alias- use your real TER handle showing your reviews and white listings.

I never make a provider recommendation to an alias or a handle with no reviews-

1) no way to know not LE-  
2) multiple review history helps hobbyists just like providers- can see before recommending whether your reviews are respectful, whether you see reputable providers rather than all CL, etc.

That being said- I realize I posted this reply under an alias  most of you know me by this alias as I changed my true handle due to a near outing!

You've certainly seen a representive group of the best of Tampa!  We share one particularly fine one in common in our review histories!

Why would LE need to ask for a rec?  They can read the postings and reviews themselves. What am I missing?

LE usually goes after the low hanging fruit, thus thus the CL stings.  However, if a "hot shot" cop or DA wants a more high-profile bust, why not ask for recommendations?

If you don't think le patrols even this board and hangs lures dangling for someone to bite.........

Appreciate the compliment, Bearhugs.  I will have to check your reviews to see who we have in common.  I do my research, and only contact a provider that I intend on seeing.

I had a chat with a provider today at her civie business, and she lamented on her lack of escort business and the number of guys who make first contact and never contact her again. First of all, I can't understand why a guy would contact a provider, fill out her form on her site, and then not follow thru.  Makes no sense to me.

BTW, she is a hottie, and I, for one, don't understand why she is not getting more clients.  She said very few guys from TER contact her, or the local site we both belong to.  Her ads don't generate business either.  Most of her clients are repeat regulars.

That's an interesting question.  I guess it would depend.  On the Florida board, every Friday is a "Provider of the week" thread where hobbyists do just that for everyone to peruse.  If I felt a favorite needed the income and does a thorough job of screening... why not?  Isn't that why providers advertise?  I would not want someone to try to use my screen name as a reference and providers should not fall for that since screen names are easy to find.

Providers never know.  That's why they need to screen.  I believe many on CL do not screen or not very well.  I don't know that for a fact since I've never contacted anyone from CL, that's just my impression.  If providers don't want new clients, they should stop advertising on the boards.  I would never give a recommendation for any provider without her permission, either explicit or implied (by her advertising).
