I'm a highly successful African American professional and I'm having a very difficult time connecting with providers. I'm 43, single and own a loft in a downtown area but I get disqualified due to my race. Any other black hobbyist have this problem?

souls_harbor25 reads

I think it can cut both ways.  I'm a 64 year old white guy and I am 0/4 with setting up sessions with black escorts.  Either they are non-responders or ghost after initial contacts.  Not sure why, race is never mentioned ... I'm pretty much about details of the calendar I don't really get into any session talk or politics or anything that would be offensive in any way.  However they have invariably been under 25 so I can't solely attribute it to race ... young chicks maybe don't want to do granddad.  Nevertheless the odds are unusual.

If most black hookers refused to see old white guys they would most likely starve to death, if you are 0/4 in trying to see black hookers, its probably something to do with YOU, not your race or your age.

souls_harbor35 reads

Maybe they don't like the Gregorian calendar.

If you are 0/4 in scheduling with black providers, and I am pretty sure I am on safe ground when I assume you have never been with a black woman outside of the hooker world, are we to further assume that at age 64 you have NEVER been with a black woman?

And you wonder why I consider you rather narrow minded.

souls_harbor43 reads

Actually I don't really wonder anything about you.

i have seen many black men,as long as i can screen them, i don't judge on race, there are bad seeds in every race color, i know how to tell the difference between thugs, losers and white trash. and professional escorts should too.

I totally agree with you. I see black men as long as I can screen them.

Claire.

Of course as a heterosexual male, I would never have sex with any man. lol

Sorry, I just couldn't resist.

Tippecanoe69 reads

Really? I thought you and JanetfromStatefarm do 69 all the time. Since you suck each other's dicks on the board, why not IRL.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

If I have to explain why, you are even stupider than I imagined. GaGa and I agree on very few things, but we can probably agree you are TSTTT.
And why do I think you don't even know what that means...

Thanks. I have seen providers such as yourself who have offered an opportunity for screening. the ones I speak off will do not offer such an opportunity at all.

I wonder how much the No AA issue has to do with worry over whether the client can navigate though lobby to the room. I am curious about this issue.  Are there any legal trespassing issue with non guests going to a room without guest accompaniment?  The issue is if a client is intercepted he needs to play as cool as possible because if the providers room is found out it would be real obvious whats going on.  I have noticed that providers prefer to give out room numbers in a voice call not text message.

So your explanation for racism is to blame the racism of a hooker who won't see black guys on the possibility that hotel staff is racist too??? That has got to be the biggest load of convoluted bullshit I have ever heard.

Are you seriously suggesting that a 43 year old professional black man can't navigate through the lobby of a hotel with blabbed to hotel staff why he is there? SMH although I'd rather smack yours.

Not all AA policies are because the hookers themselves are racist, but lets call a spade a spade, it damn sure is the reason in most cases. What REALLY pisses me off is every time I start to tell a black person to just "get over it" some dumb ass like you reminds me about just how stupid and racist some people are, and its' the  "well meaning" racists that are the stupidest, I am sure you don't consider yourself a racist, but please re-read your post a few times from a non white person's perspective and maybe you will realize just how fucking offensive it reads. No, never mind, I doubt you will ever get it.

Stop trying to make up bullshit excuses for hookers choosing who they do business with.

I have no clue why hookers choose who they choose. Better ask them.

dude, the way you go off the rails so completely over what i said, I 'll have to say your clearly not getting laid enough,  whatever you say the reason is , your probably right ...

Interesting thought, but my friends - who happen to be black - are professionals and would only get a second notice because they are pretty good looking tall guys.

I agree, thats BS based on personal experience my black friends don;t get a second glance.  But Gina is right, joining 411 and searching for those of us who are OPEN (pun intended) to all is a smart move and solve any potential reference problems, just take the guesswork out of the equation..  Can't change an eternity of thought processes but you can party on...............

I don't feel as if this applies if hes inviting the providers to his loft.. I dont think he'd mention it if he werent using it.

you are right. I like outcalls but I understand why some providers only do incalls. I have found myself in a hotel every now and then though and I've not had any issues with the staff.

You must be the epitome of stupidity.

Unlike most people think, hotels don't give a crap. If they want guest accompaniment as you wonder, they can simply force everyone to use their room keys to activate the elevator, put doors on the entrance to hall ways, etc.

Hotels do to their Pent House floors.

By the way, the front desk staff is not there to watch paranoid you, either.

good to know the internet is living up up its reputation as a cesspool of trolls.   Maybe the roach motels you go to don't care, but the ones I go to do.

Really sorry for what you are dealing with, especially considering the fact you are more successful and a gentleman compared to many clients providers see. I wish I had a solution but I don't.

Have you tried attending Meet & Greet parties? I think providers can meeting you in person and seeing who you really are might change their minds.

Hello there and thanks for your comment. This is the first time I'm hearing of meet and greets. Where do I go find the events? Are the links on TER?

This one's been beaten to death.  And by an old, white guy!  Aaaaaargh!

I'll preface this by saying that I don't get many top tier ladies that come through my particular AO.  So when I see something that intrigues me I jump on it.

I reached out to a latina provider via P411 that posted that she will be touring a nearby city.  Her agency/assistant responded with the following:

Just as our clients have preferences so do our ladies.  At this time SNP entertains the following individuals:
-Caucasian
-Latin
-Asian
-East Indian
-Middle Eastern
-Native American
-Mixed

Darn, just missed the wide list of ethnicities.  Perhaps I could find a loophole since I am mixed with Native American?

I am African American and if a girl doesn't want to see me.....it is okay with me because I get to save my money any way.

I am in the hobby because I don't have a way with women. so, if she doesn't want my money. it says to me that it just should never be

Most black - and many Asian - men inform me of their race in their introductory email.  I find this depressing.  I don't give a fuck what race you are, and I wish we lived in a world where this was not an issue.

souls_harbor33 reads

I disagree with that advice. Better to know upfront than to be turned away at the door.

It's bad enough to have your e-mail ignored, but to get all the way to the door and have her refuse to answer the door would really have to piss you off.

Now speaking for myself, I have slanted eyes and I don't ever mention it unless specifically asked my race and I have never had a problem. I was only turned down once because of my race and after a "WTF???!!!" moment, i simply moved on. Ironically she was Asian too. I had a momentary thought about telling her "I am not that kind of Asian" since I am 100% American born and raised, but then I realized how debasing that was and mentally just wrote her off.

Tippecanoe45 reads

Per previous comment, I would say tell the provider upfront to avoid any problems. Its a waste of everybody's time to play a charade up until the door and then being turned away.

I've seen both sides of the coin, and neither is very pleasant. I was once with an independent provider, asian. Her phone rang at the end of our session and she picked-up. After a few words she asked, "are you black? You sound black". WTF?  then she went on to say she doesn't see black men. It went back and forth for a bit and then she hung up on him. I thought good grief, that has to suck for that poor guy.

On the flip side, I was trying to book a girl in Mississippi. Sent her a note via her preferred method, went back and forth and all was good. Finalizing appointment, then I noticed she viewed m P411. Through e-mail I get a note, "don't contact me again". I was a bit shocked, and sent an e-mail back saying, "thought we had an appointment" She responded in all caps, "Don't you ever fucking call me or contact me again". Good grief.

I can only assume it was because of my race, which is in my profile. Understand how one can become paranoid (and angry) pretty quick after a few of those experiences.

I have been turned away at the door twice and I had a provider came all the way to my place and left after I opened it. After that, I find a way to interject my race during the appointment set up. sometimes I asked if they have rules or preferences with race etc. It better to have the provider be comfortable before the meet.

Not necessarily always an option to not include race in an appointment request. My name is foreign sounding. There's probably no white people that have my first name and maybe a handful of white people (if that) that have my last name so just by including my first and last name in an appointment request, provider has a hint that I'm not white

....but I when I am killing time scanning through ads I have noticed this NOAA statement more frequently in a certain strata of our industry ( though I am certainly not looking down at anyone, don't have any room to talk about others in this biz).  Also looking at your reviews I can take a guess at the area in which you attempt to frequently book and the problem could be bad experience with others in that Metro area..........i will say I have been a little uncomfortable there myself.   I also noticed that you have many reviews but none since 2012, (which many require) do you have more current references than that? Not being black I don't know but perhaps a lack of references or required screening info is causing your problem and you are assuming race is the issue.   On the other hand here in Atlanta aka DeepSouth I don't think you will run into a race problem not based on your self-appraisal     ( at least not with me and quite a few others) maybe we are not so backwards after all.  Never turned anyone away for race however, many have been dropkicked for stupidity which apparently has no socio-economic, racial, ethnic or geo-political boundaries.  A footnote here there is a thread on another site about this which I believe has somewhere around 4000 posts and has been stickied for over 10 years, this debate is probably never going away.....

This is a significant problem in this industry, with very good clients of "other" races being d*cked around (not in a good way) by many providers, solely based on their race.

Very recently, we put in an option on P411 that allows providers to include  "All Ethnicities Welcome" on her P411 page in the Other Details area, if she does not discriminate based on race. Clients are now able to use the Advanced Search feature to find providers who have made this selection.

I'll likely make an announcement about this new option on the client side, next week.

Always,
Gina

Do you have a P411 account? That will solve 90% of your problems. Some providers claim some black gents are pimps trying to recruit them, and some are afraid of being robbed. That's a stereotype, but there is nothing to give your money to someone who cannot screen.

Black providers aren't complaining about every ISO ad that contains "No AA".

Why don't you do the same? Keep it moving.

Wow. Just wow. Let’s see you have that same mentality if/when YOU get racially profiled.

souls_harbor29 reads

Her comment made me laugh.  I think she's saying that there are lots of black providers ready and waiting.

Nah, you aren't a racist, are you?

As long as Black guys stick with "their own kind" everyone should be happy, right?

Do you ever read some of the crap you write?

souls_harbor48 reads

I don't believe she said that.  She said black providers have lots of love to give ... spread it around.

Why be so negative GaGa?

... and in the beginning it used to really get to me. Nowadays I just move on to someone else and never give the denier another thought. I have found for every "no thanks" there are 10x as many "yes, absolutely!". So don't let it get you down. Just keep looking. One foot in the door is often all you need to gain some traction and then more doors will open for you.

That and you have spunk. I'd meet you for COFFEE. Lmao and then fuck you for free 😂😂

Mostly because i prefer black men in my free time. Actually pregnant by a black men and truly ENJOY black men. If you have screening protocol and deposit, i dont see why she WOULDN'T see you.

I'm black, and I live in the DC area and I've never had a problem seeing providers. I did notice when I was planning a trip to Houston, that a fair amount of women had NBA rules. Sucks you gotta go through that.

My opinion is that the DMV has a very diverse population and a very high average income (Bureau of Labor statistics on average salary - Loudon County and Fairfax County are top ten in the country) career white collar professionals, so its less of an issue because of our diversity. Lot of travelling providers, who I think have more of an open mind, and permanent residents exposed to diversity. Thus, less of an issue than other places. Just my personal experiences and friends shared information experiences.

IMHO, in general, you see the non AA in low end advertisement media like BP. I really haven't seen in recent memory on P411. With Gina's new system, guys will be able to avoid having to even look at a no AA policy if they just do a search on 'accepts all'.  Thanks Gina, appreciated and a good move.

results in lots of opinions and no one on this planet can change, solve or dictate people's feelings, preferences, racism and bigotry. It is been around since the beginning of humanity and will continue to exist in this country forever.

This is country, rooted in slavery, cruelty (ask native Americans) and white supremacy and you are not going to change it. If you observe, it is actually going backwards.

I wrote about the most glaring example I personally experienced (search for Victoria Styles in the porn star section) which was surprising as she herself has black heritage. I tend to mostly see current or former porn stars so I don’t run across it often as most of the ones I’ve seen are black or mixed.

However even with PS’s there have been a few that don’t (Briana Banks, Veronica Rodriguez, Kianna Dior to name some). As for non PS providers I also stick to black ones mostly to avoid the “i don’t see black guys” crap. However as my peter doesn’t discriminate whenever I’m interested in a girl that is white, asian, latina, whatever I make sure to include “I am a black man if that matters” in the first communication. I also put the same disclosure in most of my ISO’s.

Last points. Among the PS providers there’s some who’ll surprise you in that they do see black clientele. (Surprise as in they rarely or don’t/haven’t performed with black men on camera but on the hobby side they have no problem with us). And finally every female has the RIGHT to see or not see anyone for any reason they choose. Just stick to the ones that don’t discriminate on race.

I don't mind your race as long as you are respectful and your references come back clear!  But the worst kind of men are the ones who feel entitled because they are white.  So, just because you're white you think youre above everyone else.  On multiple occasions I get request for bareback services. I say no but too many times I get the response "but im white!".  It's sickening!

... your world view is too small. It's a human, world wide historic thing.
People suck. Hah!

on how they present themselves when booking a date, if they provide the screening information I request and as long as they are respectful of my boundaries, privacy and everything else that evolves this job, I can care less their skin color.

I have WONDERFUL & great Asian, Black, Middle Eastern & Indian clients... many of them are steady regulars!

Hello Sir,
Perhaps you could start with the several Provider reviews you have composed.
I noticed you haven't  "whitelist referrals".
Request of said Providers, to submit for you, a "TER Whitelist Referral or "Ok".

That is the very first thing I look at in conjunction with one's handle.
{ Not Race;  I'm an Equal Opportunity Entertainer }

From there, I proceed  to contact a minimum of three of those Providers
to inquire of the Hobbyist's demeanor;
"is he respectful, kind, and would you visit with him again?"
This is THE determining factor in whom I'll visit, and with whom I shall not.

Sometimes, the Provider will offer up intel, such as Race, or other details,
however, that is not the focus of the inquiry.

To some, double-checking the "Whitelistings" may be redundant, however,
it is for my "peace-of-mind", that indeed, a meeting between both parties has
transpired.

The real key factor for a visit with a reputable Provider, is to offer up immediately, what is
necessary to schedule with her.

Read her ads/Website/ and Etiquette pages, requesting simple instructions for bookings.

It's not rocket science;
In one simple email, PM, or text, a Hobbyist should provide entirely what is required to convene.
{ the back and forth correspondence thing is mutually time-consuming and somewhat annoying.
 It can become mood-dampening.
The time is better saved for an actual face-to-face meeting.
Recently, I had a well-referenced Gent text me 82 times during the course of 3 hours.  To me, he is in
"stalker-mode".  I had to block him. }

If a Provider has to pull teeth, to get intel out of a Hobbyist, that is a clear sign of one whom may be
difficult in private;   one might be disrespectful, forceful, and attempts to push boundaries.
I personally won't see those persons.

African American, Asian, East Indian, Latino, or Caucasian;
Last I checked, every verifiable, referenced  Gent's donation is green in color.

Bebesitos,
Angelina Jones
