What can be the problem ? They won’t discuss detail with me all l can think of is I made a payment to rubmap.com  get the premier membership

Just head up be ware ladies , I heard capital one do the same thing they closed account who have transaction on escort website.

Such a shame they are a very good bank. They refund me ATM fee worldwide

But have found a replacement bank and moved on . That just life

Sorry for my Chinglish , but I’m stills survived in America . Lol

Chase, Capitol one, citi... one more to ad to the list

This move is thanks to new laws going through congress that basically force your bank to rat you out if there's evidence that you're a sex worker.

It's undoubtedly going to pass, because appearing pro-sex trafficking is going to be political suicide. Total bullshit, but crypto currency solves ALL of these problems.

I just heard from one the girls (Canadian) on social media that they don't allow you to use any card issued by the bank to purchase crypto currency .. this is what she said "their new policy prohibits any card or account with them to be used to purchase BTC or cryptocurrency!"

FOSTA/SESTA includes language about "facilitating".  Honoring payments to anything that may be deemed illegal exposes them to potential liability under this.  These transactions are generally made electronically, via computer systems that may be considered applicable under this new POS law.  Perhaps it's possible if you are working through third party intermediaries, as TER appears to, to not have this happen, but not directly.  That's my read, FWIW.  A provider I am close to had her bank account and debit card closed after she tried to renew her P411 membership, claiming fraudulent activity with no further explanation, and I've heard several other horror stories such as yours.

This is why some sites have moved to Bitcoin for ad payments

Capital One did the same thing with me. They gave me one month notice and gave me a letter stating that they do not want my business and to close my account immediately.

you need another bank account, there're many places where you can open the account and you don't need to be there phsysically, like this one in Croatia, you can contact by chat and is under European law http://www.primorska.hr
Also you have the option PRE PAID CREDIT CARD, I Use this one https://www.tarjetaspark.es/

Re: thanks for the info Kaly!  EOM
You're welcome.
And if you're travelling to UK, you can open an account at the post office with pre paid credit card, comission is low and you can move money without problems because this system is ok for travellers keep safe the money when they're travelling.

In Amsterdam and London, in every office of DHL you can apply for pre paid credit card. Mastercard.

Just some ideas.

They are not in any cross hairs - they openly advertise it!

... from the USA stating they are Sex Worker friendly.

They're based in the USA.  They're under intense Fed scrutiny due to other issues.

And you don't think calling out that they're SW friendly is unwise?  Not everyone lives where SW is legal.

Conclusions much?
I wasn’t referring to the UK. Why would I when it was a lady US based that posted - it wouldn’t help her at all would it? 😏

My regular told me something similar happened to one of her friends a couple of weeks ago.
Private property and the constitution apparently mean nothing anymore.
This country is going down the sh*thole very fast.
I really thought Trump would have stopped this slide into the mud, but it looks like I am wrong.

There is a domino effect when a site such as BP is taken down.  Assuming they did not have a good data retention policy (meaning delete as soon as you can), the domino effect has started with the large banks that have many transactions associated with them.

Only the large ones are worth going after so they will more carefully monitor where charges are made.  They also have more resources to examine a lot of transactions for historical patterns that are indicative of fraud, drugs, or in the case of our new law......buying or selling sex.

Recommendations to all:
--Learn bitcoin basics
--Learn how to use TOR
--Learn basic internet security
--Get a protonmail.com or another European based email with strong privacy protections
--Pay with bitcoins when possible
--If you are a provider, start accepting bitcoins.  You may get more regular clients :-)
--Bank with a small community bank.  Use their credit cards.
--If you are a provider, setup an LLC to have a valid reason to deposit a wad of cash on a regular basis.

The different in capabilities between a Charles Schwab and your local crappy community bank is huge.  The local crappy bank is focusing on not getting hacked.  The large Charles Schawbs of the world are profiling the crap out of you with some sophisticated AI.   Based on what you buy, what you subscribe to, they know who you are and what you do.   I've helped on the cyber security side......

Stay safe out there.

in case it gets lost, I said this in another reply :

A girl who is Canadian announced this on her social media: "their new policy prohibits any card or account with them to be used to purchase BTC or cryptocurrency!"

So accepting it means client has to purchase it also...soooo...maybe not the best advice as we have lesser controls here in Canada concerning this and it is still affecting us
