After a 3 year hiatus from the hobby, I've come back but this time I'm based in Chattanooga. Previously I was based in Milwaukee.  The hobby will always have it's undesirable issues and people as with life in general.  Some of those issues never change!

Reviews are one of them.  Personally I had no idea what reviews were for my first year providing and had no idea TER existed.  When I did find out, I found some pretty nice reviews done by my past clients.  They were all good and I took it as sign I was getting a good start in the hobby. Since then I've accumulated an abundance of reviews through the years.  

Since then all of my reviews have been organic.  I've never asked for one to be written, never paid or exchanged services for one.  They are all written by gentlemen who have made the decision to write one on their own.  This give me a good idea of my services and where I may need to improve or make changes.  It gives my clients a decent idea of who I am which is great when relocating to a new city.  

Some things never change, the abuse of the review system is no exception.  I recently got asked to "write a review together" from a client that I screened and was ready to see.  This is disgusting as providers should not be involved in writing their reviews.  That's downright dangerous.  

When a fake review (provider being involved in the writing is fake as far as I'm concerned) is written, other gentlemen and ladies see that.  I use reviews as one of my ways to screen ladies before contacting them for a reference.  I don't take references from just anyone. Clients use them to make sure their seeing someone who is safe, as advertised, delivers what their looking for and isn't going to rip them off.  It takes a narcissistic cold heart to put out a fake review and put so many people at risk.

This issues seem to have grown since my absence.  It's to the point that I use reviews with other screening methods, never alone as these days I take them with a grain of salt.  

I will not see anyone who suggest I help write a review, see them in exchange for a review, or try to sell me fake reviews.  A provider's service speaks for itself and my reviews will remain organic and uninfluenced by me outside of my meeting with the reviewer. Mine will remain as truthful as possible.  Anyone offering fake reviews in any way, shape or form do not process the dignity and integrity I find so sexy in certain men. I will not see them.

I do notice that those who have fake reviews need to continue the vicious cycle of getting more fake reviews as they are not delivering what their reviews claim. This is time consuming and stressful. It's easier to just deliver as promised and enjoy creating positive experiences...the organic reviews will come.  Dishonesty, even in the hobby, comes back to the person putting it out there.  Karma does not judge.
