Hi, planning a trip to Nashville & Memphis this month, needed advice on what areas to get hotel in both cities and what areas to avoid?

Thanks

Krystal

Nashville I like Brentwood, BNA, Vanderbilt, or Franklin.  Many providers recommend staying out of the city's jurisdiction and away from the airport, but I haven't had any problems there (I tend to go upscale for hotels).

LE in Nashville is known to falsify employment information well so be vigilant in your screening and maybe consider not accepting work verification alone as a form of screening in Nashville...

I was told the Poplar area as well and I love upscale. Looking forward to my first visit there..

Poplar is the name of an area in Memphis (Poplar Ave) I think technically.  Brentwood is the name of a nice town just on the edge of Nashville.

Poplar/240 is the area most clients like to visit in Memphis... Poplar is very long street. Just trying to narrow it down for you...

Ok thanks and I'm guessing 240 is the highway

I got lost for 10 minutes in that place trying to find a room once.  It's a frikin' labyrinth.

Don't forget the parking fee at the Gaylord Opryland hotel, $20 daily. You can walk from the Opry Mills Mall, but that's a pretty good jaunt.
