In recent weeks I've had quite a few FMTY meetings in Nashville. (I'm actually driving in) I haven't really stayed long enough to get familiar with the area. I'm also told there are a lot of areas a lady shouldn't go.
I have a couple more FMTY meetings this month. I'm planning to stay and check out the area. I know music is huge and I'd love to check out the local bands. Where is a safe place to see local music? Is there an online resource to find local bands?
I eat clean, organic and as fresh from the farm as possible. I do not get my groceries from a grocery store or eat at most chain restaurants. Are there any farm to table restaurants? Farmer's markets? Stores that sell local products from the local farms? Farm Markets?
I really dislike mindlessly shopping, hanging out at the mall and chasing name brands. I find it boring, mindless and time consuming so, unless I need something, I won't be shopping while in town. What I do love is getting out in nature. Where are the best hiking or walking trails, nature spaces and water to read a book by? I'm a big outdoors person, I'm happiest in Nature.
What are the museums like? I love to visit museums and historical sites. Their often expensive however, if I can learn something while enjoying myself, I'm a happy camper!
What else is there to do in Nashville and the surrounding areas?
I really love the limited visits I've done before, I'm super excited to explore Nashville
