Yep - bona fide scammer. Tested from 2x separate contacts, spent the money for a deposit (twice) .... zero actual bookings. After receiving the deposit, then the scammer stated the base amount for the deposit was incorrect, and asked for more money.  #buyerbeware It's unlikely I will ever pay a deposit again.

You sent a deposit *twice* to a newly listed provider with no social media and no reviews, and that makes you think deposits are a scam?

You got scammed for sure, and deposits were the vehicle, for sure.

But you're leading a terrible example for the other mongers.

Simply make sure the person is legit, and you won't have problems.

Wow you got scammed twice by the same entity that was obviously a scammer. That is a lesson for you to do your due diligence first and find a reputable provider.
