Probably an unpopular suggestion?

This is probably an unpopular suggestion.  But (maybe exception for the providers who might need to remain anonymous in responding to a question/concern/gripe)

But eliminate the ability for other to create aliases.  It would cut down on the "brave ones" who like to start trouble knowing that no one knows who they actually are.  If you're an actual "contributor" to the masses due to a REAL experience/review, then you should have no issues.

If however, like many....if you don't have any reviews....then you shouldn't be able to post endless inane crap.

Ok.....flame away!

First because you'd be punishing the innocent along with the guilty. And there are lots of good reasons to use an alias (which I almost never do), like that they are just fun. Also, reviewing under an alias (which I've also never done) can protect you from retaliation while exposing a bad provider so others don't make the same mistake.
And as for posting on TER discussion boards under an alias, what's the harm? Who the hell cares?
