I know that the skipsweb links now found in some profiles replaced another link that had the letters "ter" in them and that those links probably had replaced a previous backpage link.  I find it aggravating that some profiles now have only a skipsweb link that leads to a page with no photos, yet the profile still indicates there were photos at the prior link, which probably was a backpage link.

I presume that "skipsweb" links are a result of whatever problem/battle is/was going on with backpage.  Within a two week period in October TER seemed to "yoyo" between not allowing backpage links and then allowing them and then not allowing them.

Anyone have a guess as to what is going on?
