Why don't the admins update the look of the site to something more contemporary?

I've noticed other sites that all seem to be using the same template that allow you to post images, video, take polls, in general are more graphic based type sites, and or more user friendly.

Albeit well run and supported, the look of this site reminds me of the ftp sites of years past.

Just an observation...

... over lots of useless graphics, slow loading pages, and flash over content.

TER:  Please don't make the page loading any slower.

SPEED speed speed is GOOD good good

I got a cable modem years ago and never really had issues after that when it came to loading, unless someone posted an unusually large file.

I also understand others don't so to each their own I suppose.

If this has been brought up before I'm sorry for rehashing.
