Philadelphia and Pittsburgh are 300 miles apart and have separate boards. Jacksonville is 350 miles from Miami and there's lots of metropolitan areas in between.
People had asked for it, but when it actually happened, it was not successful for whatever reasons. So admin put it back together. In the peninsular part of Florida, people travel a lot and it makes things easier to have just one state board, IMHO.
