Which is a total flop and waste of bandwidth standing alone.
While I don't think TER needs more off topic boards, perhaps all of them combined in some fashion would at least spark a little interest with multiple subjects.

I hope you are not going to suggest a good housekeeping board next.

That's not what this forum is all about.  I'm sure there are plenty of places out in cyberspace to look for that stuff.  Why bother us with that here?  This forum is not about the 'arts'....hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To tell the truth, I don't understand why we have a politics board, a sports board, a book board.   Most of us are not here for all that stuff, we're here for sex!!!!!  

Many many many people enjoy the boards that you apparently have disdain for. You don't like then DON'T FUCKING READ THEM!

However, so are you.  I'm glad they enjoy those other boards, I don't disdain them, just don't understand why they are here.  I don't FUCKING READ THEM, shit-for-brains.

its easy for some of the posts on GD to turn political and become trainwrecks and/or piss a lot of people off, which could hurt membership.

So instead of mods spending most of their time pulling political posts, or everyone having to dance around certain subjects, there is a board where that can occur freely.

I imagine some of the other boards were created to keep the clutter down on GD. But I agree there is little specific purpose to having a sports board here. As you say, there are sites devoted entirely to that elsewhere.
