I can see the winnowing effect of different "clicks" and their counts.
A local Ad board ad might get a lot of clicks by guys automatically clicking everything on the page to see the pics: N is large. If a Provider is able to track her website clicks, that's another very large N.
How many actually click thru from the TER ad or website ad to the Profile once their curiosity is piqued? That N is smaller.
How many actually make contact? N is smaller still.
How many confirm, show up and pay? That's the N that count$!
Correlating the clicks should be the measure of an ad's effectiveness. It could also be a measure of a Profile or review effectiveness! An enticing Ad might generate a lot of Profile VIEWS, but if the Profile is full of No, No, No, YMMV, No and No, there might be very little follow-up.
