1. Currently the "View All" option can be confusing by the order it displays messages in the thread.
It could be improved by displaying them in the same order as in the normal view.

2. Some threads can get very long, when the same few people respond back and forth multiple times.  This could be improved if the software enforced a rule "one posting per thread by the same alias".  This should not be a problem for users because they can always EDIT their existing postings in the thread, and update the subject line to say "(UPDATED)".  If you're really clever, you could also restrict members from posting more than one item per thread under any alias from the same user.

I agree with Staff on point #2--I've had my opinion changed during the course of a long thread. If limits were imposed instead of continuing a thread people would just make new posts and therefore there would be several threads dealing with the same subject.

It would be very confusing for me to a thread with thoughts all over the place and constantly seeing "edited."
