Here's your problem. You are a constant whiner and never see the positive aspects of these changes.

TER does not revolve around scoed, so quit bitching on the boards all the time. It gets old.

Let me enlighten you a little bit. TER is a site designed for hobbyists to review and exchange information. Now, if something is posted under alias and I want to gather more info, I can now PM that alias and he can choose to answer me or not. There will be a more free flow of information without being identities being compromised. this is an added safety feature and perk for VIP members.

BTW, I am NOT sending you a PM. It would just be a waste of my time.      

This new PMing as an alias thing is a real bad idea. People use aliases mostly to attack on the boards, now they can harass people with them by PM where there is no mod seeing behind the curtain? Bad idea. What other use does this feature have? I can think of none. If we must have alias PM's can we have a way to opt out of all alias PM's as I wish to never to get one.

Now lats say you just for fun decided to send such an PM. I always welcome your PM's. I don't want to mistakenly ignore my friends to avoid asshole aliases. I really don't like this feature.

I like most of the new TER features, and think TER has improved recently.

not that you are at all interested in that, but you pm-ing an alias is very different from an alias taking the initiative to pm you.

So it could be redesigned so that an alias cannot make the first pm to anyone, but can still reply back.

My method is if I see a pm and Idk whom it is, delete.

It solves every issue with alias PMing, and allows almost the upside.
