A provider's name in an ad is required for posting.  Many providers do not list a name in their ad yet feedback on their performance can still be important to other members.  Members typically search by location, not name and therefore the ability to see info on an "unnamed" provider would be vary valuable.  Web site address and phone number could be used to group reviews by a unique ID.  When looking in an area, the web site is enough to identify the provider and help members make the decision to consider a provider..

...is required to be in her ad in order for a review of her to be approved. The reason I asked the question was to be sure I understood your comments. You said "a provider's name in an ad is required for posting." The way you used the word posting is confusing. Here on TER we use the term "post" or "posting" to refer to comments or questions written & placed (posted) on the discussion boards. Your comments suggesting the review should be accepted without a name in the ladies ad is a "post".

It sounded like you were saying the provider was required to have a name in an ad to be allowed to post. That is not correct. It is correct that her name must be on her ad in order for a review of her to be approved & posted. Had you said, a provider's name in an ad is required for posting a review, it would have been clear what you were talking about.

Then the confusion about ad as opposed to web site brought up by perfectstorm futher confused things.

Not sure what I think about your suggestion. I'm inclined to disagree.

The only "no name" providers I have seen have been on ad sites like BP.
Any provider who has a website will have a name!

Like you were talking about personal websites. Nobody has a personal website without a name.

Many groups of girls travel around the country claiming to be "independant," yet they share a common phone number and are often "managed" by a common pimp. Because they don't self-identify as an "agency," TER is prevented from organizing their profiles using their standard agency page template.

I found this great example to illustrate my point- 6 individual girls working in the same area almost simultaneously ALL using the same phone number!  NOW if there were no NAMES on their ads or profiles, how freaking confusing could this get?? What if some of the ads expired? What if some of the girls updated or changed their pictures? Reviewers would be constantly reading or writing reviews about the wrong person.
