Suggestion and Policy

This has probably been suggested before but I can't seem to find it.

Admins, is there any way us providers could opt out of having explicit reviews written? Reviews are awesome for proving that we're legit, as advertised, etc, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who's a little uncomfortable with having my dates with clients described in such graphic detail.

All you can do is suggest to your clients that write reviews to not to be so graphic.  TER is not going to allow you to opt out of certain types of reviews. Either you accept reviews or not. and if you choose not, then you are delisted and not allowed to advertise on TER either.

The other thing you can do is be real specific in screening, and only see guys who don`t write real graphic reveiws. That will reduce your market, but they are out there. Not every reviewer is writing for penthouse forum.

I kind of had a feeling that that would be the response I would get. I have been doing the latter option as of late, but it definitely has its cons. I suppose I'll just have to make a decision as to whether or not to allow reviews in the future. I'd hate to have to leave TER, since the people on this site have helped me so much, but I suppose I'll just have to weigh that against what I said in my OP. Regardless, thank you for your input. :)

How important is the money to you? Not looking for you to answer that publically. If you wont allow reviews, like Storm said, you will be de-listed. If that happens, your contacts/sessions will tank.

There is zero chance of admin changing its stance on reviews. In fact, they encourage, and in some cases, demand, that reviews be more graphic.

Imo, you dont "owe" anything to anybody here when it comes to your personal comfort level with reviews. If its too much, you leave, if you can afford to take the financial hit. No one here, at least nobody decent, and that is 95% of the people here, will think less of you for opting out.

Give it more time and more thought. Many, many women have been in your shoes. Most would tell you that they got used to it, gradually, over time. But "they" arent you. You may never get used to it. You have to weigh the benefits vs. drawbacks. I would say give it another 3-6 months time. If you still feel the same way, then bail, for it wont be worth it to you.

Best BCG with whatever you decide! It is not an easy decision.

There are many many many many high end ladies who are not here on TEr and do very well in the hobby.  Most of them are on twi tt er and er os.

Of course the guys are going to try and tell you that you can't possibly survive without reviews.  LOL
It will definitely make work a little more difficult unless you've got a solid SD and plenty of solid regulars.

Thank you. I figured my suggestion would go unheeded, but it was worth a shot. I suppose I'll just have to weigh everything.

That's what I've been told by most of the other ladies I've spoken with (as well as quite a few of the guys, just not publicly haha). Thanks for your input, Fallon. :)

You're on twitter. You're on eros. You're "high end", right? Drop your TER profile for 6 months. Report back to us on how you make out. Deal?

You can advertise here and

a. Have no reviews (your name, # or email isn't linked to a reviewed profile)
b. Have reviews posted but not link your username to those reviews (you lost the ability to read your reviews)

Ask on your website that you not be reviewed. I've seen several women advertise here and on their website they specifically ask for no reviews.

Of course if you ask for no reviews, guys will wonder why but so what. If you don't like the graphic, tell all, blow by blow (no pun intended). Then opt out. You can always opt back in.

Good luck BCG

Thanks, BPH. I was hoping that there could be some kind of compromise (I'm 99.9% sure that a different review site lets providers choose whether or not they allow explicit reviews, so I was thinking something along the lines of that), but I'm certainly not holding my breath.

I didn't know that TER allowed a provider to opt back in? I always thought that once a girl is delisted, she's out for good. Am I wrong?

One other thing, hypothetically speaking, let's say that I implement a policy where I ask that clients no longer write reviews, while still acknowledging my current ones. Now that I typed that put, it seems a little pointless but I suppose I'm just exploring my options.

It just seems to me that the "services offered" section of a lady's profile should be sufficient, without the excruciatingly detailed accounts of a particular encounter. I fully understand that y'all want to know if a provider's photos are accurate, if she offers CBJ vs. BBBJ, what her attitude is like, etc. That part totally makes sense. I just feel like some things should be kept private, specifically within a business that values discretion so much.

Anyway, sorry for the novella. I guess I'll just have to make a choice. I really do appreciate everyone's input on this!

I wouldn't mind being the guinea pig for this experiment, actually. If I decide to test that theory, I'll be certain to report back with my findings! :)

If a provider has a no review policy in any form she is automatically de-listed.
