A good place to start is by not giving away memberships. Or at least, verify with the provider that she has seen him. Maybe if we could set up requests and appointments through this site first, and THEN allow a review, after it's clear the provider and client have agreed to meet. It would also allow a chance to mention NCNS and repetitive cancellations fairly. Am I the only one who feels this way?
Daughter, daughter, don't you know
You're not the first to feel just so?
So let me say, before I go,
It's worth it any way.
Some day we all may be surprised,
We'll wake, and open up our eyes
And then at last, we'll realize
The whole world feels this way.
One of many suggestions (on the S&P board) was that TER issue a verification code number to the Provider upon scheduling a meeting. The client gets the number from the Provider upon arrival. The client uses that number to authenticate his review when submitted. Sounds like it could work!
Basically: (1) WAY too complicated! (2) Not all Providers are "active" on TER. For example, AMPs would have no part of codes and verification numbers. (3) Like TER would want to be involved with all that???
Maybe you can come up with a better suggestion?
