Suggestion and Policy

I suggest that someone actually consider these siggestions! For once!confused_smile

but believe it or not, on a few occasions, TER has actually implemented an idea or two that originated on this board.

For example, the Newbies Manual started out as an idea on here.

Also, the idea to have separate boards for provider ads and local boards first appeared here.

So, keep pitching.  Occassionally, they'll swing.

Many of the changes that TER implements started from a suggestion here. (as mrfisher has mentioned). Occasionally, admin will actually reply to a post here.

But a couple things to think about: One, changes take time and don't happen overnight. Two, just because one member suggests something does not make it a great idea! They are not going to take every suggestion and make it policy!

Maybe it's possible that TER did try to implement some changes by way of coding the changes and incorporating that into the website.

However, during the testing phase, whatever changes TER was trying to do didn't work out for whatever reason.

Many of those changes are not as easy as it looks on paper.

I ought to know... I do a lot of website coding by hand and it can be a nightmare if the coding is not done right.

admin is just like your favorite atf..she knows exactly what she is doing and does it well..it will be awfully hard for her to try something new..but every once in a while she will surprise you will something new and different..it is like a spice added to an already flavorful package..

that has a pretty decent menu and service, but there are a few things you don't like about it. They change and tweak the menu every so often, someitmes at the request of customers, but they are not about to adopt every suggested menu chage, just because one person thinks it's a good idea.
