Wow, I have never heard of anyone changing their bank cards every month? Wow, can't you just sign up for a credit protection plan?
Or you could use a greendot card to pay for VIP and only put enough money on it to pay the VIP monthly plan. It's a cash reload card so you can only spend the money that you put on it. If the card becomes compromised, just stop putting money on it, cut it up, and go get another one. I have used greendot for years and it works great.
You can purchase greendot at cvs, walgreens, walmart, kroger...very convenient. You can purchase reload cards at cvs, walgreens (1 hour wait time to load the money if you use walgreens), or you can go up to any cashier in walmart and tell them you want to add money to your greendot and they swipe the card, you pay the money and your done. The money will be available on your card in about 15-20 minutes.
I like to recommend that you add an option when someone wants to use a credit card to have an option of using manual payments.
Currently as it stands, credit cards are automatically taken out on the same day as you first signed up for VIP accesss. This automatic cycle continues until you cancel your VIP access.
I change my bank cards every 2-3 months to fight against identity theft and protect my bank accounts. If I were to use one of my bank cards now, it will be useless by next month and I'll get something in the email stating that my card has been declined.
Well, duh, yea, I know that because I have changed my bank card and now, I have to re-enter the card number all over again.
Can TER work with their credit card processor to add that option of having manual payments by credit card?
Oh, TER, I will not use the cash option since I do NOT want to pay 3 months in advance. I do not like that option. Besdies that the bank in my local area that does that cash processing method isn't even the same bank that I deal with. No thanks!

I don't change my cards every month... I said... I change them every 2-3 months.
It's MY choice to protect my bank accounts and that's the way it is. I was a victim of identity theft last year and almost lost $10,000. Do I want to repeat that whole episode? Nope.
Credit protection plans are nothing but a waste of money and they do NOT protect your bank accounts once the accounts are compromised. Don't believe me? Go check your credit report and see how many false information is on there that are attached to your name. It is nearly impossible to get the incorrect information removed unless you hire an attorney to clean up your credit ratings and reports. Your bank is the only one that is legally able to fix up your bank account with a few exceptions of court orders.
Greendot card is similar to pre-paid Visa / MasterCards. What if it's stolen? Whoever has it can spend whatever is left on the card in a flash and you won't have time to stop anyone from using it until it's drained completely. You're out of that money. No thanks!

I can understand the concern now, but the idea I was getting at with the Greendot card is only put exactly how much money you will need on it. Having a greendot card saved my ass once when I lost my wallet. I had put most of my cash on it and had I not done that, I would have lost all my cash and been stranded in a strange city. As it played out, I only lost about $60 bucks in cash.
I have lost several greendot's and you call them immediately, they freeze your card, close that account and transfer the money to a new account and mail it out to you.
If you only put $50 bucks on it and it's stolen, and you don't report it stolen/lost in time, you've only lost $50 bucks vs all your cash and credit limit available to whomever.
