Do away with free time for submitting problem reports.

I'll have my profile very accurate, up-to-date, and just how I want it and then someone will come along and change it just to get two free days of VIP. As an example, someone recently posted an outdated ad for me under "ad website" (when I've spent hours upon hours creating and updating my website to have any and all information you could possibly need to know to book with me). This ad had been created right after I started back into the biz over half a year ago and had very outdated rates and old photos (I hadn't even realized the ad was still up). Not only that, but the format of the link was wrong, so when you clicked on it, it just pulled up an error message! Or maybe I'll run a special, and suddenly that temporary rate gets posted as my normal rate. Once I think I even had an advertisement site remove my website and put their ad on my profile instead- an ad that I had never posted; they had stolen it and posted it in order to get business to their site.

I think the main problem I see here is that there is more incentive to post wrong/inaccurate information just to get a little free VIP status than there is to post information that actually benefits the community. I do sincerely appreciate TER's being prompt at fixing the problem reports I have submitted (often to fix the ones that others inaccurately posted).

I think that the researchers that check the validity of the error reports need to take steps to ensure the data is accurate. I submit error reports all the time for duplicate entries of the same provider. The most common reason they are turned down is because her phone number is different.
A good researcher would look at the linked ads, pictures and text and plainly see the stale record. This is not the case at TER. There seems to be very little research. Probably a shortage of moderators (cash$$) for this task.
