STAFF, real hard to chat and file share at the same time...

i use WinMX to file share, and the chat freezes up all the time. want i should let you know what ports it uses specifically?
is it possible to fix on your end or do i just need to keep choosing between this way cool song or chatting with these way cool people?  :)

Nicole, you should be able to modify settings in WinMX so that it doesn't use the usual ports.  Here's what I use and I don't have a problem with chat:

Settings
Incoming TCP Connections
   (.)Unable to accept incoming TCP connections

Internet Connection
  In/Out UDP Packets
    (.)Unable to use UDP datagrams on any port

Connection Type
 (.)Make a secondary connection to the network

The chat is a only on port 80.  It is a html based chat.
