Personally I peruse the city ad board to see which ladies are visiting (or locals just advertising) rather than checking on individual providers to see where they are or what they are advertising on TER. But to each their own.
I know what you're saying, but it didn't make sense to me for the same reason. Just search your local ad board!
Technically, I guess it can be done but it gets very messy and remains incomplete. Agency ad postings won't link to an individual and you could end up with all of them. Ads posted by an assistant will not link to the Profiles. Not all Providers post ads to the local boards and rely on P411, DC and the web. Find Profiles of touring ladies and they've already moved on to another city so you'll get linked to a current ad 1000 miles away.
I think it would take much more programming effort than TER would be willing to put into it. Let's see:
- For each Profile:
- Create a new field called "Recent Ad Board Ads"
- See if Profile is linked to a Handle.
- See if Handle has any recent posts to ad boards as OP. (Not replies or follow-ups to their own OPs.) Limit search to past 30? 60? 90? days.
- Automatically enter OP ad links into "Recent Ad Board Ads" field in reverse chron order, up to a maximum of 3? 4?
- If ad count = zero, print "This doesn't work as well as you hoped it would, does it? Why don't you just search your local ad board?" in the "Recent Ad Board Ads" field
