I'm not personally affected but I have family and friends, and friends of friends who are affected. Sad but it's one of those things we have no control over.
Look at the Kansas board, Alabama board, Gold Coast and Central Valley CA boards, and a dozen other regional boards barely on life support. A Hawaii board would just be another unneeded dead board, and I have said this in the past when TER was thriving, Now that the whole site is on life support, they definitely have way more important things to worry about than creating another dead board.

Not sure what would make you think it would. The Alabama folks promised that too as they cried for years for TER to add an Alabama board. Well it took them 6 years to reach 266 threads, and threads on the current first page go back a whole year.
Here's why I say a Hawaii board would not be very popular: TER has never been big in Hawaii. There are very few posters from Hawaii on the TER boards. Having a dedicated Hawaii regional board would not suddenly draw a whole bunch of new posters. There are very few reviews from Hawaii compared to other cities with regional boards. You can't tell now, since the USA reviews are gone but before they were pulled Hawaii had maybe 1000 reviews total from 1999 to 2018. Other cities have many thousands. The other non TER discussion board that did serve Hawaii was actually pretty active but even that board had very little discussion on the escort forum. The lively discussions were all in the AMP sections. There are not many escorts in Hawaii period. Just look at Eros listings in Hawaii compared to other cities. Look at p411 listings compared to other cities. So you can beg to differ all you want, but I believe I am correct, and I speak from experience as a very long time TER member (and member of many other hobby boards) who has lived in Hawaii all my life and who hobbies in Hawaii.
Now aside from all of that, TER itself is dying right now. Adding new regional boards is not what is going to bring TER back to its glory days. I certainly hope TER doesn't die, and I assume admin is doing everything they can to make TER back to what it was, but with all the stuff they have to be working on now, they certainly don't need to be considering adding a Hawaii regional board.
Even the most active regional boards on TER have less than 200 total posts a MONTH right now. I can't imagine that a Hawaii board would get so much as a post a day, most likely more like a post a week, in today's climate. The last thing TER needs right now is more dead boards.
Well, I agree to on some things. Yes, Hawaii is dominated by AAMPS and its has since day 1. I know many girls do not like to post ads in Hawaii (HNL) due to the very low # of appts booked.
But, I do know that they're are many girls who our UTR ins Hawaii.
Yes, many of the hobbyists our cheap bastards and will not pay 2 benjamins or more for a 1hr appt.
Eros, City-Source, and a few other that have allowed HAwaii ads have never been popular.

Like you I'm born and raised in Honolulu. And, if you remember only place to see ads we're in the Pennysaver before the internet.
Will TER be around by the end of the year? Who knows, will any of the boards be around? Been a member for a long time and hope TER stays around for many years. But, thats up to owner if US feds decide to turn up the heat and go after them.
I just feel that a Hawaii board would be a good addition. Yes, you're entitled to your opinion and I know and hangout and talk story with many of the guys at the local so-called korean and viet bars.
They've always asked why know Hawaii board on TER and like everyone else we just shrug our heads.
