Currently there is no notification if one's post is removed. I think it would be helpful to have an email notification generated, which includes the link to the removed post in "My Posts", when a post is removed for any reason other than it was requested to be deleted by the author. Receiving notifications could be optional, controlled by a setting in Account Manager.
Some examples of where such a notification could be helpful: * A provider's ad was removed because it violated Ad policy. Some providers don't check their ads frequently. If an email notification were sent, the provider could quickly correct the ad and get it re-posted, avoiding loss of valuable advertising time. * A post in a discussion thread was removed because it violated policy. The poster may want to edit the post and re-post it while the thread is still fresh. * A provider's photo was removed from the Photo board because it violated the board's rules. Getting notification by email can allow the provider to re-post in the Photo board that same day.
