I actually have very little control over the back button.  It is within your browser.  Maybe someon has a link to some jave code that might help (Link?)

In navigating the discussion boards (at least the national board & LA) hitting the back button almost always returns me to the top of the page, just as "return to forum" would do. It's annoying to have this happen when you're near the bottom of the page but there is still more you wants to read.  Granted, this isn't an earth-shaking problem...but the next time you're refining things, can you keep that in mind please?

For me the problem occurs using Internet Explorer Version 6.0 on a Dell GX-150 running Windows 2000. On an older Dell GX 100 with IE 5.0 and Windows 98 the problem does not occur. Unfortunately, the lease on the older computer is about up and my company is about to replace it. Since both computers are behind the company firewall that isn't the problem this time.

Staff and lustman tried to help me on this one, but we were not able to solve it.

I wonder how many others are having the same problem?
