Suggestion and Policy

I think it would be appropriate for TER to post a slightly more verbose Privacy Policy under its own link.  I know there is one in the FAQ on info and Policies...but As concerned as people get (yes, I am one of them) and as seriously as TER takes privacy...why not make a point?  Make your Privacy Policy its own entity.

I suggest this for 2 reasons.

1.  It will let hobbyists know in no uncertain terms that their privacy is you number 1 priority..without them having to search it out.

2.  It will help in setting a standard.  If you show people the level of your concern for their personal information, then perhaps they will look for it elsewhere...and not finding it either demand it or stop going to less than ethical sites out there.  TER is in a position to assist hobbyists in more than just reviews and discussion...it can also help outline the problems we all face and how to guard against them.

Sorry Lookylooky for taking a little time to get back to you on this.  It has been a little crazy the past week.  The entire site  will be undergoing a new look in a couple of months.  This will be considered at that point.
