I am not sure what the legality is on publishing a guide on how to avoid LE.  But for STD, saftey, and standard legal issues, we would love the help.

I'll admit it, I'm just burned-out on the topic of STD's, especially since it is always asked and usually answered  emotionally.  This approach provides little real help to the individual that just had the epiphany that he could catch something and really needs facts, not media scare sound bites thrown at him.  

The latest question on the LA Board just serves to remind that every newbie has this concern and that's why the question is asked on average of every 2-3 weeks.

My suggestion- just like we have various Service Guides, is it possible to have an area where the advice that the experts  have given in the past can be saved and viewed by others.  Legal issues and STD's are the two that come to mind.  You can put a bunch of disclaimers on it, of course, but it would still be better than the way it's handled now.

There are several additional guides that are needed to help new users know "what's up” We are always looking for the assistance of volunteer writers to help us out.

I'm not an attorney, but I could search the many existing posts by Levendi and one or two others and try to piece together a general guide to the basic legal issues, common tactics of LE and how to avoid walking into traps.  Since laws vary by state, it could only be a broad guide to the subject, not a specific "how to" manual.  Because even Levendi can't speak to 50 state law on this subject without a lot of research.  Still, the legal principles tend to be similar throughout most of the country.  I'm willing to give it a shot, but may have to put it on hold if other business comittments get in the way.
