Hi, has there been a change in TER policy regarding the Cost of Services section in the member reviews?
I filed a new review, which appears unedited on TER (thank you) but the cost of service information that I posted is not shown in the member area. Also, I'm noticing that providers with many reviews still have little cost of services info. So far, I've sent two E-mails about this, with one response, but the information still has not yet been added.
In my opinion, the logic should be simple, if the cost of services is already shown for the same amount of time for the same $, then just show it once or, add a counter to show how many times it has been posted? The more cost of service info., the better!
Any other ideas?
I think that the information that we post should be shown in its entirety, if the review is accepted by the Staff, my $0.02
The reason we do not update the profile price based upon individual reviews or show each price paid by each reviews is because it is not fair to the provider.
Example: Provider who normally charges $$$ is having a SLOW day, she accepts a call for $$. If the review showed she only charged this member $$ then no one else would want to pay $$$ even though it is her normal price.
The price info on the profile is the "advertised price" Not necessarily what is paid by each person. A lot of times this is the same thing. The best way to update this is through problem reports.
