Suggestion and Policy

How about an annual TER award to the best reviewer?

The one reviewer voted most useful, informative, entertaining, etc., could be voted upon each year around the time of the Academy Awards.  In addition, the provider considered the most attractive, the best performer, etc., could also be voted upon by TER members.

Best reviewer: Interesting, how would you suggest we judge that.  Many of the members are VERY good contributors in their own way.  I would be hard pressed to find the #1

Best Provider:  Bad Idea.  The "best Provider" should be an individual decision made up of your personal likes and dislikes.  That is why TER does not have a "Top 10 list."  You can use the search feature to create your own list based upon what you find important.  TER is simply a huge warehouse of information to make your own decisions on where to spend your hard earned money.

would be judged by TER readers.  They would vote on who they found to be the most helpful, entertaining or whatever.

Just an idea.

I second that/ yes that is a fantastic idea.
The ter team can first shortlist the best reviews which helped the other members from avoiding and going ahead to actually have a good experience with a provider.
Members then using the Logins can login in and vote for the short listed candidates - vote allowed just once.
This I think is a fantastic idea to shoot TER's popularity higher than ever (not that it isn't now)

Lastly I wanna thank TER staff for helping me save hundreds (even thousands) every year by helping me choose the right provider - except for one instance I've never had any problem with TER's reviews. (that sounded like an award speech hehehe)

Sounds like a good idea.  Let me think about how to do it fairly.
