Searchable db options for provider profiles:

Requires RWI:        Y or N
Requires Deposit: Y or N

I’m almost positive I’ve seen the idea of adding deposits to profiles floated out around here someplace before but I don’t feel like looking for it lol. May not have even been this board.

I think it is a hot idea that could be helpful to some folks, but I see a lot of ways for it to turn into a bit of a sticky briquette.

There’s too many opportunities for whatever ends up on the profile to be wrong. Which, if people used it in advanced search, would result in beaver hunters chasing lots of rabbits, as well as causing them to look right past lots of potential good leads.

I’ve learned to believe very little of what’s on the profiles here. I use the reviews to get an idea of her general attitude/style, and what she does or doesn’t do; and that comes with a grain of salt or two. The profile stuff is just wrong a lot. Pricing, in or outcall, muff or no muff, cup size, age, menu, hell even what city she lives in. I get all that from her ad or site once I find someone interesting. ESPECIALLY pricing! Deposit would be like that for me.

I don’t mean to throw rocks at your idea. Just playing devils aggregate. I wouldn’t use it but that doesn’t mean nobody should. I just think it could get sticky. A lot of providers have enough trouble dealing with misinformation and wrong expectations. Here’s some of the reasons I think those fields would be wrong too often to be very valuable:

For one thing, some of these gals are darn good internet sleuths in their own right. I’m sure plenty of clients have handed over rwi without realizing it. [I have no doubt I’m in that group so nobody bother proving it to me.]

A provider requiring deposit and/or rwi can vary quite a lot depending on, among other things:
Her evaluation of the other info you provided, particularly references
The general vibe she got from your introductory email
Length of appointment
Touring or not
When’s the mortgage due?
Incall or outcall
Other things I’d probably never think of.

A number of women have hard and fast personal policies from which they never stray. But I think too many of the users here would put a yes or no in those boxes when it should be left blank or “don’t know” or “YMMV” or “ask her yourself, pinhead!” or whatever, far too often.

Maybe I’m just a glass half empty grump.
