I know my participation on the TER boards has dropped dramatically with the new format - and I am sure everyone is bummed ;-) Regardless, since each new reply to a post brings the thread to the top of the heap, the only good way to look for ads on my local board is to search.

I would suggest that ladies and agencies place a standard phrase in their subject to denote that this is an AD. Unfortunately, searching for "ad" is not very helpful, so I might suggest using something like "TER-AD" in the subject line. It would be better if TER chose the standard phrase.

True enough, but you can't do a search to get them all together... you're forced to scroll/page and look for each ad. This would be so easy and stop the legitimate beefs by the ladies about their ads scrolling into neverland.

I concur that the current indexing on the boards is horrible.  I'm beginning to wonder if we might be better off to set up a separate "sub board" for advertisements.  The new web format, coupled with the the bumping to the top, coupled with all the ads, makes the discussion board so difficult to follow that I find myself just giving up.  I think the solution requires much more than having some predefined text in the subject.
