I notice that the board has gotten away from themed threads. It might be an excellent time to bring themed photo threads back based on some discussions I saw about preferences, cosplay, and other topics of mutual interest. I'm sure others could post a variety of interesting topic suggestions.
It would be a way great way for people with mutual interests to connect and make that board more easily navigated since the threads would be differentiated.
It's had only daily threads for as long as I can remember.
Local boards and a few others such as the 60+ board sometimes had themed photo threads. I would like to see those return, but I think it's obvious why they can't return in the current climate--not in the USA boards at least.
I think if you give the dynamic of a photo only, no text post devoted to specific themes some consideration you'll see how there's very little chance of an individual post being misconstrued as an advertisement. Not really any different than pinterest or other image boards.
Any members wishing to compliment a lady for the fine composition and artistic finesse she displays in her choice of postings could always PM her to discuss whatever elements captivated him.
Most of us miss the old TER but I was referring to the occasional (monthly? quarterly? whenever they felt like it?) Miss TER.

I think that number of likes on the Photo Only Board was one of the factors used to determine the winners of the Miss TER title. PMs to the Provider didn't count.
