Suggestion and Policy

Well, got moved here but I did consider posting it here rather than the GD board. But then thought it might make more sense to get a wider audience and feedback. If enough interest was merited  an office suggestion could be made -- and perhaps a better one with more general TER membership brainstorming ideas.

I don't want to say it is dying but I do have the impression it is (like many parts of TER) less than it was. I think maybe 10-12 photos with about 500 views a day, on average, is where it stands now. I don't often look but want to say it was a good bit higher a number of years back.

While I'll caveat this with I'm not big on voyeurism in general, I often find the pics kind of boring and know sure just how much help the posts are for the providers posting. Made me wonder a bit. What if TER were to post something like the top liked photo of the month, or quarter, and then had member voting for pic of the quarter/year?

Like I said, I find many of the photo pretty boarding, but I do occasionally see a photo that appears to have been well composed and creative visually. Don't know if others have something of the same take on that board but maybe some encouragement by TER would induce a bit more thought and effort in the images posted and might lead to positives for all -- more joy for those that like pics and more business for the providers posting for marketing purposes, and I suppose if a competition kicks off bragging rights for creative/aesthetic skills.

Are you going to post it on the "Suggestion and Policy" board?  Then it becomes a recommendation/request rather than just an observation.

I did a quick look around and it seems like that feature no longer exists. I guess nobody cared. Or is it still here and I just didn't find it?

Maybe make it a monthly thing and limit how many photos the same person can post? When I have looked, there are like 5 ladies who post every day. Nothing against them, but the excitement wears off seeing the same lady post a picture every day. I prefer more variety.

I enjoy scanning the PO Board and would like to see more photos posted. From the Provider side, I think guys in specific cities would find it useful to search the board as an more specific adjunct to the Review Search. (I.e., Providers are supposed to include Cities in their subject line. A small city might show up in PO but the Reviewer might only have listed the nearest Big City in the Review.)
.
I think the daily regulars should be allowed to post every day, w/o restriction. (I think that there used to a rule that couldn't post the SAME photo more than every 7 or 10 days. That rule is not enforced as was changed.)
.
In my own mind, there is one Provider who I think is the Most Photogenic and always posts intriguing photos. (Not going to post my vote here.)
.
If a contest or award would promote more PO photo posts, I'm in favor of that.

I am reposting here one of my favorite PO photos but without a name to see if anyone recognizes the context or who it is.
