The Favorites menu is lacking in features, and as such is borderline unusable in its current state, particularly when you have many favorites selected.
A good band-aid for this would be to offer a search/sorting option to the review search that would give you only your favorites (or potentially disclude them entirely).Just check off their name on your favorites page and then hit delete.
Also, you can have an unlimited number of favorites. Only 20 display per page, but you can have nearly an unlimited number of pages.
I use the my favorites page to see whenever someone has a new review, because their name will rise to the top of the list when that happens.
...click the box next to their name and click "delete checked" at the bottom of the page. If you have more than 20 favorites the bottom right side of the page will have numbers (ex: 1 2) click the number you want, you get taken to that page of your favorites. There is a sort box on the upper right. You choose if you want your favorites sorted by name, date they were added to the list, or by recently updated. "Recently updated" will result in the provider with a new review moving to the top of the list. Then you can go check it out.
I understand that I can individually check 20 favorites and delete them all at once. That's not a great solution.
If you want to un-favorite a specific provider, you'll have to sift through your favorites to find them. Sometimes this is simple enough, because you know the city she works out of and you don't have many favorites there. Sometimes it's a huge pain because you're looking to remove one girl from the list but you have 100+ girls favorited in her city, so you have to look through the pages and hope you get lucky and find her.
What I'm saying is, the feature could much better with just a simple "remove from favorites" button on the profile pages, and while you're at it, adding it to the search function would be nice.
...In the same box (upper right corner of favorites page) where you can set it to list in order of most recently updated you can instead set it to list by name. Then it will be alphabetized. Shouldn't be hard to find Suzy Sexworker that way though you will have to take a guess at which page her name is on and then work your way backward or forward from there.
Right, and like I mentioned, it's certainly possible with the current system, just more difficult than it needs to be. I have around 100 total favorites, spread out across 4 major cities that I frequently visit. That's about the breaking point in terms of usability.
I'd love to add providers from Chicago to the list, because I'm there once a year usually, but it would easily be 40+ additional girls, and that's untenable with the current system.
I agree, but you can do this if you're clever.
Take this search URL from a general search for young providers in San Diego, CA
https://www.theeroticreview.com/reviews/newreviewsList.asp?Valid=1&mp=0&Age=1,%202&gCity=city-san-diego-ca-us&gCityName=San%20Diego,%20CA&page=2
Notice at the end there is a string, "&page=2". You can change the page number to whatever you'd like and it'll go to that page if it exists.
but you do have to be at least a little clever to think of it. Great idea.
I am still not going to cut back on sex though.
BTW under the old version of TER you could do searches by date range, but your idea makes a workaround that should do the trick as well.
If anything, being able to browse through searches faster will lead to you having more sex, not less.
You're welcome.
