If someone politely asks a poster to not have anything to do with them, can there be a feature to state they've asked the poster to not interact or have dialogue with them? Then if the poster continues to correspond with them and become a stalker type, admin will be aware of their tendencies.

I had a stalker on GD for a few days and he got suspended because of it. Haven't seen him around since. May be different as he kept twisting around things I was posting.  

I feel for you, because I would get pissed off too if someone kept bothering me. I can't say though it has happened (but the one time).  

Perhaps speak to member via pm and figure out why they are bugging on you. Sometimes some of the guys are actually playing and don't realize what they say can be interpreted a few ways. I do know some of the guys are doing the dry humor on you and not being as mean as what you make take it as.

My personal suggestion? Give them crap back and doing it in the same joking manner. Eventually they will give you respect. Worked for a few gals that they now love, but use to bust their balls. For some reason they never did that to me. Don't let them run you off or censor you, just be you. The boys really do like sometimes being messed with back. Really. Some of the same dumb asses that mess with you, are the same sweet hearts to me, London, Caitlyn..... Know why? Because we mess with them back. Don't take things so personal.

Unless a poster is sending you PMs, it is on you to simply ignore them. You can't make anyone on a discussion board leave you alone, because you're here. If I want to get away from some asshole on TER, I either use an alias or simply log off.

if you put that offending person on ignore. you will know that person will respond to your posts, but you can't see them, but everyone else can.  

Therefore, if those people respond to that offending person's post and quotes them, you'll will know what that person has posted.  

ignores are useless and so are cyber bullies that frequent these forum boards.
