Hosting your own images is the safest and easiest.  
 I created a tutorial  3 years ago on a step by step process.  
The best thing?  
You can text or email your images to get the URL code! No logging into an account.

You don't need to host your photos the way your site is currently set up.  Just go to your site and right click on the photo, then click "copy link location" and paste that into the TER "picture url" field and that will post your photo.  I would, however, recommend watermarking your gorgeous photos because you are delicious.
