I apologize if this has been addressed before, but I couldn't find a recent thread and this is the first time I've been on this board.

It appears that all members, VIP and basic, have a mailbox thingy by their handle. However, only VIP members can send/receive private mail, but one cannot tell if a pm sent is to a basic or VIP member, and therefore the basic member doesn't receive the message and the sender doesn't know that the basic member didn't receive their sent message.

Seems like a easy, no-brainer fix - color code mailboxes, anything to denote the differences.

Or, am I missing something?

actually, I was coming here to write the same suggestion except, I was going to suggest not to have an envelope by their name if they can't recieve any pm's and it would not be so confusing.
I think at one time it was that way only vip had envelopes by their names.

one member posted on the board, he no longer is able to recieve pm's and people were trying to reach him thru pm's and nobody knew if he was just not replying or if he wasn't getting them.

It think this problem can be easily solved and end the confusion.
