Just a suggestion - it would be nice if when I send a private message, the system tells me one of these things:"Message sent.  Email notification sent."or "Message sent.  Note: Email notification is not being accepted by this user."

I have submitted this as an enhancement. The programmers will get to it, but I am not sure when. They are working on the reviews database upgrade at this point.
