Obviously I have no idea if providers get notifications for changes to their profiles. I can chose to get them (or not) when I receive a PM or when a provider in my favorites gets her profile updated. So the idea that they can’t be notified about that would be surprising to me. But I can’t know.  

 
Maybe the providers could “favorite” themselves?? HA!

This gives the provider an opportunity to verify if the reviewer is real.

I’ve been here, since 2005. Please explain how they notify providers…

Go to Your Account (top right, dropdown menu under your username). There is a checkbox for  
"Email Notification Of New Personal Message [  ]"

MAYBE that will do it?

There used to be a checkbox for "Notify me when someone replies to my post [  ] " or something like that, but I don't see it anymore. Was it a global setting on the Account page or a post-by-post selection on each "Post" page?
