I know it's been posted before, but squeaky wheel and all that ...

If you had a TER ID field at the beginning of the Review Form, you could put in the Provider's # and voila! all the generic fields populate.  The reviewer can then go change what ever needs changing.

...however reviewer changing something won't change it. That requires a problem report. I know, doesn't make much sense but there it is.

then you know that TER has made it the way it is because that is the way they want it. They don't WANT to make it easier to submit a review. They WANT you to go through the trouble of entering all the fields, It doesn't eliminate false reviews, but at least makes it more time consuming for someone to just enter multiple fake reviews with a few clicks.

... does not deter fraud.  Liars and cheaters will lie and cheat whether it takes 5 minutes or 15 minutes.

Liars and cheats will always lie and cheat, but many liars and cheats are also lazy. Clarence did say it doesn't "eliminate" fake reviews.  I bet there would be a lot more fakes if it was an easier process.

In addition, TER gives 15 free days for a review. They want you to work for those days.

And yes this gets asked a lot. Most recently a couple weeks ago, and still on this page. This topic is the equivalent of the "dick size" thread on the GD!

Maybe they keep it this way so the process could not be automated.  Can you imagine if some jackoff invented a program to enter reviews automatically?  Oh lordy

The current system which preserves profile data based on the first vs last review defies logic.  And just try to get a service or description item changed with a problem report - waste of time.  I have done so even for a provider I have seen. They won't accept it.  The provider herself has to submit a problem report to get those things changed.
