Suggestion and Policy

Most posts "die" within a few days. Normally there are a lot of responses that same day, some the next, then that's it. Many of us don't have the chance/luxury to access TER daily (work, freedom,....)
I feel like I am always late for any real-time board discussion.
I was wondering if it would make sense to have, at least for the general discussion board, a "latest posts" button that could keep the more interesting discussions going.
Not sure if it would work. A possible negative would be keeping alive meaningless posts.
Thoughts?

I use this feature on several other boards that I belong to and it is indeed very helpful.  I'm not sure if the TER format would work for it but I think it's a great suggestion.

I agree, great suggestion for the same reasons here.  And let the membership decide what is meaningless by their responses.  Would also encourage better thread titles.

I also don't get on the board every day. When I finally do, I hate it when there is an interesting post I may want to respond to, but don't bother since the thread is one or two days old.

I have participated on other boards where the thread was bumped to the top if someone responded. This way whenever you log on, you are up to date on topics.

Have a great week!
