There are very few ladies on the boards these days (hi, lopaw!), but would it be worth a MODERATED test run to see if a Women for Women board would attract more ladies to TER and to help lady clients and Providers trying to connect?

I say MODERATED because there is some concern about possible bashing or bullying (both ways!).  

I say test run because nobody needs another dead board. The thing is, it would need time to FIRST attract ladies to TER and THEN to get the ladies to post to a "friendly" moderated board.  

Yes, an open forum. Men could post there, too.

Despite having an air of political correctness to it, the idea does have possibilities.

I can imagine a Male OP if it was helpful to (the as yet to be determined stated purpose of the board to) help F to F connections and address F - F issues in sessions and related matters. (Just like newbie guys might ask, "Am I supposed to bring supplies or does she?" a newbie gal might ask, "Am I supposed to bring FC if I want to use one or should I expect her to have them?" or "What is standard practice regarding toys in F-F sessions.")  

But a guy might initiate: "I did a doubles session with Suzie and Woozie and, boy, were they into each other! I asked them about F clients and they both said Yes! I submitted a review, but you ladies might want to give either one of them serious consideration (based on my observer status)."  I think that would serve the purpose of such a board.

However, "Post some F-F stories! And make them XXX! And include a picture!" would not be an acceptable OP.

It's worth a try. I think some female clients don't enjoy posting on the GD because they don't want to hear a guy's input. Some questions they'd rather ask on a board that is for them, although guys are welcome too. Plenty of people don't post on the boards in fear of judgement, although I think regardless of what board posted on, I think female clients and the bisexual experience are very welcome.  

I am not sure if too many would post, wouldn't really know til there is a board. I think it is possible that some providers would post on the board and make it known they are friendly about it.  

Too many providers say they are bi and they are not, even when doing doubles. Plenty of guys will swear they are bi and the provider themselves will say in public that she is (for reasons of the old reviewing system and alot of guys are turned on thinking she is bi). Obviously if guys knew a lady wasn't bi, they are not going to book a double.

If there is such a board, I would be willing to post as long as it is not dead like my local board. I would at least give it a try. I think I know a few other providers that would too. There would even be some straight providers posting as it is nice to be in a more female friendly environment. Many gals don't like playing with the boys of the boards. I do, obviously... but a huge amount of gals don't want to deal with it and/or are afraid to post because they assume some guys act certain ways. I don't agree with it personally, but I could understand based off several other gals' experiences trying to partake in the boards.

Unless you make it a "private access" board, anyone should be able to say whatever they want. Within the rules of course.

A board like this would have a hard enough time attracting enough posters to keep it alive. Making it a moderated board would only serve to kill it even faster.

As for guys coming on there disrupting things, the boards have a habit of self policing where it comes to things like that. Remember the ass whipping KeystoneKid got when he asked for nude pics of lopaw? Come to think of it, I was the leader in kicking his ass. lol

I think a board like this has possibilities, I will concede I think it's doubtful that such a board would attract a lot of traffic however.

Yeah, it could take a while to attain a critical mass of F members (clients and Providers) to keep a W-for-W board self-sustaining. There is a shortage of F clients on TER right now.

If a W-for-W board is launched, how long do you give it to get up to speed before you shut it down? 6 months? 1 year? 10 years?  

Maybe TER could come up with some kind of promotion to attract more F client members -- filled with problems not managed in this simple suggestion.  
- NEW F memberships are half-price or double-the-time (pay for one month, get two months; pay for one year, get two years; regular rates after that).  
- Promotional blitz to attract F client members: Super Bowl Ad!  
- The regular +15 days per review.  
- I can't see a way to encourage posting without getting more drivel. "A F client TER member gets an extra 1 day of membership for every 10 board posts."  Nope. Recipe for disaster.  
- How to check "credentials" to make sure that someone claiming to be a F client isn't just a cheap-ass M trying to game the system and steal a discounted membership.
- Guys will complain under Title IX, or the 5th or 14th Amendments to the US Constitution. Hay, TER is in Europe, not the US. Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite, Sororite!  

Maybe TER could assign someone to be official host of a W-for-W board the way perfectstorm is the current host of Newbie.  I volunteer! Oops, my hand slipped. I meant to write, "I volunteer lopaw!"  

Maybe there are other services or benefits that TER can come up with to attract more F client memberships. Any ideas?

I don't see lopaw asking for special privileges and that's why by and large most of us treat her just like any other monger.

The TS board does just fine without any special treatment, you don't see guys going over there to denigrate TS providers and/or those who patronize them. They don't need any special protection and neither would a W for W board.

I really believe you are over thinking this. Just like most ideas, the market will decide if it fills a need.

I can't speak for any other lady mongers, but I for one wouldn't want any special provisions made for me. It's really not a good enough incentive when you think about the crybabies out there who would scream discrimination.

And I cringe at the idea that a predominantly women's area would need protection from unwanted or rude male attention. I pity the fool who fucks with me or my peeps! Honestly we dames can handle ourselves quite well on our own.

I'll reiterate that I would love a board like that but I think other than myself and a few (initially) curious providers it would quietly fade into oblivion

As lopaw said in the General thread, there are F mongers out there who are terrified to join in on a place like (the current) TER. If there is a demand, they do not yet have a place to go.  

That's why I think a W-for-W board could be that place that would increase TER biz by slowly drawing F mongers

That's why I think a W-for-W board should be moderated at first, and then relaxed after an identity was established.  Or, just begin with Newbie-style friendly posting rules. Just until the new crowd (2 is company, 3 is a crowd) became accustomed to TER via other boards and could be weened off of mandated niceties.  

Maybe we're not ready for a W-for-W board. Maybe we don't need a W-for-W board. But thanks for your input.

BTW ... I have heard a rumor that lopaw is going to launch a competing web site for fmongers, The Fmonger Review (TFR), complete with discussion boards. That is a actual alternative fact, as made up by me.

I have had only one female client. And I have ads and a website that make it pretty clear that I'm open to all kinds of clients.  

I wish we could see women and create a market for that but I just don't think there is one I'm sorry to say.

If you do see women it's not obvious in any of the ads that I've seen from you. In fact upon seeing your LA ads I wrote you off as not girl friendly. You do mention couples once (no extra charge), but as far as female inclusiveness that's about it.

Its a fantasy that women want to fuck every good looking guy they see (or woman), and I'm sure there are a few exceptions to the rules, but most women become attracted to the PERSON first and then the sexual attraction comes after that.  

That's why MOST women  Will not pay for sex with a stranger.  

I said women were included for a long time on my ads.  I still include women on the advertising sites where you check off who you see.  I check all of the boxes off except for groups of men.  There's practically no market for it.  

Providers are the exception, not the rule.

If you guys think a W for W board would be helpful, then by all means we should try it.  I support that 100%.  It would be so fun to attract more women!  Even girl-girl couples.  That would be great.  I wish there were more women clients and I'm delighted to entertain single women.  I just seriously didn't think there was a need for it after so few requests. Maybe that's because lesbian women and couples DON'T feel this community includes them.  Maybe we can change that.  

And what a great point, Ga- most straight women might get to know someone first then feel attracted to them later.  Lesbian women could very well be more aggressive about getting their needs met.  I really don't know.  Obviously some of them are.  I will again, defer to Lopaw's thoughts on the matter.

I haven't updated my website yet, but I will be adding a photo of a woman calling on the screening page and a paragraph about single women on the entertainment page.  I'm ready to do my part to open up TER to women clients.
