Idea about adding "stickys" to newbie board.

On the newbie board, a discussion broke out about adding "stickys" at the top of the page to deal with the most oft asked questions e.g. "what verification service should I use, P411 or Datecheck?", that sort of thing. An FAQ section equivalent, if you will. The three of us that chimed in all felt is was a great idea. The self help center for newbies is a bit scattered and hard to read for someone brand new to the biz and a "primer" if you will of the 8-10 or so most often asked questions would seem to be a much better initial guide for them. Thoughts?

Have you even noticed that "wet paint" signs are usually covered with dirty fingerprints?

Newbies ask dumb questions on the GD & local boards all day long and also asking "is this girl real or TGTBT"???

When we send them to the self help center I think they are overwhelmed in there. So many topics, so much text. I just think a much more succinct, more newbie user friendly faq would be helpful. And its funny that everyone prefaces their statement with "its a GREAT idea but..." I think we are selling the newbies a little short. 95% of them find the newbie board and most people dont touch wet paint with a sign right next to it saying "Wet Paint." lol. You are always going to have total dopes in life. But there not the majority. And the "we shoudnt do it for there all stupid" argument doesnt fly with me. We shouldnt shit can GREAT ideas based on the lowest common denominator of human beings. Nothing would ever evolve if we did it that way. Just my 2 cents.

You can put a "10" naked with her pussy dripping &  straddling a Newbies face and he doesn't know WTF to do with it.  They can't even wipe their asses properly. They  leave skidmarks on the sheets.

I agree you can make try to make things easier for Newbies, but TER already has links to often asked questions with help for Newbs and they still ask the dumb ass questions anyway.  They can't find the men's room.

anything to make things easier to find will cut down on the repeat topic questions.
I spent days reading this site, yet still had questions that were not addressed anywhere that I could find.
From seeing the number of reads that posts get, this site has a tremendous volume, so there will always be a few posts that cover old ground, annoying the grumpy old farts who lord over this place (humor intended grumpy old farts, but if you can dish, you can take)..

So yes, stickies, or better yet a well-edited FAQ with limitted owners who can maintain and keep up to date would be great things.
